This strategy scans for stocks showing consistent bullish price continuation across multiple lower timeframes, supported by rising volume and trend alignment.
Strategy Description
Scanner Conditions
- Latest 1-minute close above the previous (P-1) 1-minute close, indicating immediate bullish price continuation.
- Latest 2-minute close above the previous (P-1) 2-minute close, confirming momentum stability on a slightly higher timeframe.
- Latest 3-minute close above the previous (P-1) 3-minute close, ensuring multi-timeframe bullish alignment.
- Volume showing a rising trend for at least 3 periods on the 5-minute tick with green candles, confirming sustained buyer participation.
- To improve reliability, it filters for stocks showing bullish technical strength.
- Close price above the 9-period EMA on the 5-minute tick, signaling short-term bullish control.
Additional Considerations
- Timeframe: Best suited for 5-minute timeframe for intraday scalping.
- Ideal Market Sessions: Performs best during 9:30–10:30 AM and 2:00–3:00 PM.
- Avoid Sudden Spikes: If there’s a huge price move in the last two to four ticks, stay cautious as volatility may fade quickly.
- Volume Confirmation: Monitor volume closely - Momentum is trustworthy when supported by good volume.
