We calculate all the price and price derivative data in-house. This includes technical data, chart data, screeners, and other analysis. We take care to provide the highest quality of data, but we do not guarantee accuracy at all times. Please use this data as general guidance. We try to cover all common indicators, patterns, tools, and screeners to give you a ready analysis with a very user-friendly web interface. We depend on external sources for financial data. They are provided here to assist you with Technical Analysis (our main offering). There could be a delay in financial/earning data, especially post-results.
We analyze stocks traded at NSE (National Stock Exchange), Mumbai, India.
In the Screener, we provide additional filters for Blue Chip, Future & Option Stocks, MidCap, SmallCap, NSE 500, Portfolio, and watchlist stocks.
Every call in Auto-Refresh is counted as a call. I.e., if you set Auto-Refresh throughout the day, then at 12 calls/hour, total calls will be around 70-80 per screener.
We cover EOD (End of the Day) on Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Ticks for all major analysis/screeners. In charts, we also cover Quarterly Ticks.
We cover 1 / 2 / 5 / 15 Minutes, 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 Hours, and Daily Ticks for all major analysis/screeners. In charts, we also cover 3 Hours and 4 Hours Ticks.
We cover both Quarterly and Annual results for key parameters. For some ratios, we calculate values daily. In charts, we cover both Quarterly and Annual data points.
Custom Screeners are for investors/traders who look for very detailed analysis using combinations of parameters. We provide users with tens of thousands of combinations to scan data from.
Key Highlights Ticks - All standard ticks we cover, i.e., 1 Min, 2 Mins, 3 Mins, 5 Mins, 10 Mins, 15 Mins, 30 Mins, 45 Mins, 75 Mins, 1 Hr, 2 Hrs, 3 Hrs, 4 Hrs, Intraday, End of the Day, Weekly, and Monthly.
Auto Refresh - Once you find a magic combination of filters, you can set them to auto-refresh.
Notifications - On Auto-Refresh, you can configure a sound notification.
Strategy Alerts - You can set strategy alerts using the Custom Screener.
Save - You can save your settings.
Pause - You can pause some of your filters to try different combinations.
Tech/Fundamental - Support for both technical and fundamental data in one screener.
Classification - You can apply them to Blue Chip, NSE 500, Watchlist, Portfolio, etc.
MA Cross Over - Filter on whether Price MA or two MAs cross over on the latest or previous tick.
Technical Enhancements - We are migrating technicals from the old framework to the new. Some indicators like RSI and MFI have been migrated. Estimated time is before the end of the month for all remaining tech in TSR.
Technical Cross Overs - Limited - Crossovers on a particular tick (latest or previous) - includes crossovers within X ticks - choice of crossovers in the last X ticks.
Tech Value Range - Ability to filter if a tech indicator is within a range. E.g., RSI within 2% of 70.
Trending Technicals - Value of technical indicator trending for the last N ticks. For example, a rising MFI every tick.
Custom Tech Value - Example: Bollinger Bands with 3 SD. This is a work in progress and will be available in the Trader Pro package. ETA Mid-Jan.
Cross Tick Filters - Tech / MA filters crossover across ticks. E.g., Price above 50 SMA on Daily, above 20 SMA on Weekly, or RSI > 70 on Daily/Weekly and Monthly Ticks... and above 10 on Monthly Tick.
Tech Divergence - Divergence on CCI, RSI, MACD, CMF, Super Trend, RVI... Supported divergences include 5 Bullish and 5 Bearish types.

Standard Screeners are ready-to-use and are the most commonly used screeners. They are based on price/volume, technical indicators, moving averages, and chart patterns.
Key Highlights Ticks - All standard ticks we cover, i.e., 1 Min, 2 Mins, 3 Mins, 5 Mins, 10 Mins, 15 Mins, 30 Mins, 45 Mins, 75 Mins, 1 Hr, 2 Hrs, 3 Hrs, 4 Hrs, Intraday, End of the Day, Weekly, and Monthly for most screeners. However, some screeners like beta are calculated at the end of the day only.

Watchlists help you track key indicators and parameters for stocks of your interest. We make hundreds of such parameters available to customize and ease your analysis.

Our tool helps you manage and track your portfolio in a unique way so that you stay on top of your trades, irrespective of the number and types of trades you manage.
Portfolio User Interface We provide you with a single unified view of your both Long and Short trades. Ability to add trades helps you track them in your preferred way.
Trade Types - We support FIFO (First In, First Out), LIFO (Last In, First Out), or user-managed trades where you have complete control over your trade execution tracking.
Graphical Views - We provide graphical views to help you analyze your positions across trades. For example, Large-Cap / Mid-Cap allocations, Sector-wise allocations, etc.
Portfolio management requires logging in to TopStockResearch.com. Access it at Portfolio.
A variety of filters, screeners, stock views, watchlists, and portfolios can be bookmarked as favorite links.
Custom Screener Result Template Columns and fields of screener results are carefully designed to reflect screener relevance in terms of filtering criteria. However, some users may also want to look for an additional indicator or field alongside the default options. Using a Search Result Template, they can add their preferred fields either before or after default columns, or modify default listings.
1. Pre-Result Template - Using this template, you can add a set of columns to appear before the default ones. For example, Sector or Market Cap data might be important to some users.
2. Post-Result Template - Add columns that should appear after default columns, such as a custom set of technical or financial indicators.
3. Result Template - Completely override default layouts and replace them with your custom configuration of technical or financial indicator columns.
4. Alert Template - Choose favorite columns to display directly inside alert messages. (NOT YET IMPLEMENTED. This feature will be added in coming days).
Similar to the Home Page dashboard, you can customize the Equity Analysis page layout in any specific order and across preferred tabs. Equity tracking is available at Equity.
